Spasivska Church is located in Kempa. This is the only building remained from the ensemble of the Saint Cathedral, which was found in the ХV century by Ostroski family. It is unique by its architectural and artistic characteristics. It was constructed in a style of Moldovan cathedral.
Spasivska Churchwas built in 1643 in a Uniate archimandrite for ProkipKhmelyovsky. In late XVIcentury,KonstyantynOstroski built a wooden church for the cathedral, which was calledPasivska. He put an icon of Divine Mother there, the icon was blessed. The icon plating was decorated with pearls and precious jewels. In 1630, the cathedral was Orthodox, later hegumenCassianSakowiczbrought union here. In 1743, Dubno general chapter (an assembly of the Basil priests)was held here. There was a library in the cathedral, which was moved to Dorogobuzky monastery in 1812. In 1839, a bell-tower was built. The temple reached 375 years in 2018.
